  • CHRIS GRIFFIN

    CHRIS GRIFFIN - President

    Chris served four years active duty in the Army as a medic for an infantry company in the 82nd Airborne until he was honorably discharged in 2011. He now works at Stetson University in Deland, Florida as Director of Veteran Services. He is married and has two children. He started playing ice hockey in 2019 and has been part of Central Florida Warriors since the first practice held by Austin and Nick.

  • AUSTIN HOLTHAUS

    AUSTIN HOLTHAUS - Co-Founder & VP of Hockey Operations

    Austin retired from the USAF after 20 years following service in various space and missile operations assignments from 1997 until 2017. He is married and has three children. He grew up playing soccer, volleyball and football, but began playing hockey in his mid-20s. Together with Nick Mills, Austin founded Central Florida Warriors Hockey, Inc. in July 2022.

  • JAYDEN COFER

    JAYDEN COFER - VP of Business Operations

    Jayden served six years in the Minnesota Army National Guard as a combat medic, where he developed a strong commitment to supporting fellow service members. He was honorably discharged after his service and now works in the construction industry in Central Florida. Jayden grew up in Minnesota playing hockey and has carried that passion with him throughout his life. He understands the value the game brings in building discipline, teamwork, and resilience, both on and off the ice.

  • NICK MILLS

    NICK MILLS - Founder & Member at Large

    Nick is a U.S. Army Veteran and one of two founders of Central FLorida Warriors Hockey, Inc. Nick served as the program’s first President from 2022 until the end of 2024.

  • AMAR PATEL

    AMAR PATEL - Member at Large

    Amar has served Brevard Achievement Center (BAC) as  President & CEO since June 2012.

    Prior to joining the BAC team, Amar was with Harris Corporation where he served as program manager for the F22, and F35 program, the largest avionics program to date at the Melbourne-based communications and information technology firm.   

    Amar serves the National Council of SourceAmerica Employers Executive Committee as South Region Representative; is an active member of the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors of CareerSource Brevard and is a member of RESPECT of Florida’s State-use Program Oversight Committee.

    Amar is a 2015 recipient of LEAD Brevard’s “4 Under 40” award. He is an avid ice hockey player and youth hockey coach and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and camping. Of his various accomplishments, however, Amar is most proud of his family: wife, Megan, and two children, Layla and Luca.
